Patient: Male swimmer, age 19.

Level: Swedish National Team member from Berkeley University team, Olympian.

Diagnosis: Chronic shoulder pain

Passive vibration was accomplished once a day by gradual increase duration of treatment.  The Axilla was selected as vibration location using double rounded attachment.

The athlete felt pain relief after the session 1 already. Every session reduced the pain significantly. At the end of the treatment, the athlete was able to swim entire the workout. Since the camp was short, we didn’t finish treatment, however athlete felt much less pain and was able to swim high intensity sets at the end of camp.
